Emerald City is the seventh album by Teena Marie, released in July 22, It is a stylistic departure for her, with strong blues and jazz influences favored over her established soul/funk style, and is a concept album. Aug 02,  · This CD provides access to the full vocal and instrumental versions of the track "Lips 2 Find U" Absolutely the most powerful dance rock track she ever produced and my favorite Teena Marie offering by far. Rock out to "Lips" on the dancefloor and you'll get it. I am not by any means a Teena Marie fan but this track got me one night in the club /5(44).
